Network Engineer
Lockheed Martin, Manassas, VA
Migrated data and 200 users from a private domain to the main
domain of the facility. This included regrouping user groups,
removing trusts, transferring privileges to new server,
upgrading workstations to logon to new domain (windows 3.11, NT
Workstation 3.51, Windows 95). Supported Lotus Notes. Used SMS
to download software packages. Worked closely with the help
desk as second line support.

Testing high capacity disk
drives server storage systems. Testing with Novell 3.12 and
4.x,Windows NT3.5. Testing of RAID storage subsystems. Tested
fast-wide SCSI. Debugged with SCSI Analyzers. Testing of new
drives, CDs, Backup devices, and Optical drives for bug free
operations. Provided customer support for devices and Novell
operation system problems. Downloaded and debugged SCSI codes.
Provided on-site support and problem solving. Set up equipment
for trade shows. Wrote test plans and reported the results to
management. Implemented PCI solutions and discover problems with

Mortgageflex front end processor (Mortgageflex). Supported 50
user Novell Network(312). Supervised implementation of software
system. Corrected problems with the existing Novell (3.12)
network. Trained end users on use of Paradox, Microsoft Works,
Microsoft Windows, Lotus Amipro, Microsoft Publisher,
Mortgageflex. Installed third party print server (netport, etc)

Advised clients who did not
have computer systems what to buy. Performed the needs analysis
to find out what they were trying to do and match the correct
hardware, software networks to get the job done. In addition
installed the hardware and software, trained the end users.
Supplied impartial advice to customers who had several quotes on
their desk and did not know which one would be best for their
company. Performed emergency service calls when they computer
crashed and they had to get it back working.

accounting systems. Trained the accounting personnel to use the
system and convert from a manual system.
I have a sixth sense about
computers (e.g., install most software without even looking at
the manuals.) Troubleshooting bizarre problems without using any
technical support. I love the challenge of working on difficult
